Is the treatment painful?
- Many people find it slightly uncomfortable. Sometimes a slight sting. This quickly subsides.
How long does a session normally take?
- It depends on the size of the treatment area. We work according to the pace that the client can manage. It usually is anything between 15 and 30 minutes.
Are there any side effects?
- The worst side effect could be that you are bruised from the laser.
How many sessions are needed?
- Most clients need between 6 to 8 sessions.
Is there any downtime?
- The most downtime is if there is a little bruising.
When will I see results ?
- The best analogy to explain what happens in skin healing is think of a brick wall. The cells, which in the analogy is the bricks take 30 days to grow and move to the surface of the skin after a treatment. The matrix around the brick (cell) that holds it together is the collagen strands. The collagen strands take 4 months to grow. The collagen is what gives the skin the elasticity and smoothness. One will start to see changes after 30 days but for the full results we must wait the four months after the treatment.
